We are a significant market player having an integrated mill with a production of billets and ingots from locally sourced raw material which is then converted in us in house rolling mills to produce the widest range of long structural steel products. The group also has investments in the Cement Industry to complement our product offering to the customers.The group also manufactures a wide range of value-added iron and steel products for the construction industry ranging from hot-rolled steel products, cold-rolled steel products wire products, welding rods, and roofing products.SummaryTo identify, negotiate, and secure a consistent supply of quality scrap metal while maintaining a competitive price advantage in the Ethiopian market.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct frequentfield visitsto discover new scrap sources (industrial plants, collectors, and contractors).Perform weekly price surveys of competitors and report local price trends.Build and update a digital database of reliable vendors with their capacity and quality history.Inspect scrap at the source to prevent the delivery of non-ferrous waste andhazardous/explosive materials.Secure favourable pricing and payment terms to minimise procurement costs.Supervise the loading and transport process from the supplier's site to the factory.Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor .
