Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with Ethiopian financial regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls within the organization.Key Responsibilities• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Ethiopian accounting standards and IFRS• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions• Ensure compliance with tax regulations set by the Ethiopian Ministry of Revenues• Prepare and submit VAT, withholding tax, and income tax reports• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes• Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations• Manage and supervise junior accounting staff• Coordinate internal and external audits• Maintain proper documentation and financial records• Monitor cash flow and budgeting processes
