Responsibilities:
Implementation, configuration, and maintenance of core banking software and hardware.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the core banking system.
Providing technical support to end-users and ensuring smooth system operation.
Performing system upgrades, patches, and updates.
Developing and maintaining system documentation and procedures.
Monitoring system performance and optimizing for efficiency.
Collaborating with IT teams and other departments to ensure integration with other systems.
Training and orientation of other staffs.
Adhering to security standards and best practices to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience of which 3-5 years in managerial position in core banking system administration.
Strong knowledge of core banking software (e.g., Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Infosys Finacle).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java,Python, PowerShell).
Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in core banking systems or related technologies.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
